Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a cooking competition. The competition was organised by the Department of Home Science. Students participated enthusiastically in this competition showing the importance of nutritious diet in a healthy life. Presenting their cooking skills very well, the students prepared delicious and balanced dishes and also explained about the advantages of nutritious food and the disadvantages of junk food. In this competition, Rajwinder Kaur stood first, Harsimran Kaur secured the second position and Ekta Rishi got the third position. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that in present times it is very important to understand the importance and need of proper diet in a healthy lifestyle and with such activities this awareness can be created easily. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Department of Home Science for the successful organisation of this competition.
