Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised Mathematical quiz Mastishaq– 21 in order to inculcate more interest of the students in Mathematics. The quiz was organised by Ramanujan society of PG Department of Mathematics. Students from college as well as from collegiate of classes +1,+2 Non-medical, Commerce,B.Sc. ( Hons.) Mathematics, B.Sc. (Non-medical, Computer Science) and M.Sc (Mathematics)participated  in this quiz. The quiz comprised of four rounds -Rapid fire rounds, Who am I round, MCQ problem solving round & video clipping buzzer round. There were four teams namely ARYABHATTA, BRAHMAGUPTA, BHASKARA &BODHAYANA. All the team members participated with a lot of enthusiasm byshow casing their potential in Maths. Team ARYABHATTA was declared the winner for the quiz. The team members of the winning team were Radhika (B.Sc (Hons.) Sem 5), Lavleen Saini(B.Sc(Non Medical)Sem 5),Anuradha (B.Sc(Hons.) Sem1) and Jannat (+1 Non-medical). Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that these kind of activities enhanced the inquisitiveness of the students thereby building their confidence, mental power and expand their horizon of knowledge. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs. Veena Deepak, Head, PG Department of Mathematics for successfully organising the competition.
