Participants from More Than 18 Sates of India Participate in Quiz Competition
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) & Outlook Magazine organised the National Level online quiz to commemorate National Science Day. The quiz was organised by PG Department of Chemistry. The main objective of this event was to promote general science and to aware the students the importance of science used in the daily life. Approximately 1850 students attempted the quiz from more than 18 states of India. The candidates who successfully passed the quiz was also provided with e-certificates.Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that science has important role in our lives to play as all the phenomena of our lives are directly or indirectly impacted by the science only. She also encouraged the students to aspire high to become the great Women Scientist & also laid emphasis on the fact that the women have given a great contribution to the field of science. She apprised all that KMV has been given the coveted status of Star College by DST, Government of India to provide the quality based education in the field of science.Madam Principal lauded the efforts of PG Department of Chemistry for conducting this event successfully.
