Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous ) organised various activities to celebrate Republic Day and Voters’ Day.  Sweep Club, Electoral Literacy Club, Red Ribbon Club, NSS And the Department of Political Science along with 36 Jalandhar North organised activities like Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Essay Writing, Power Point Presentation etc. dedicated to Voters Day. Apart from this a poster making activity related to Republic Day was conducted by the Post Graduate Department of Fine Arts. Students in their activities presented their views on social construction, gender equality, national unity, integrity, security, development of science and technology, importance and necessity of voting etc. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated all on the occasion of Republic Day and averred that along with the Fundamental Rights enshrined in the Constitution of India, we must strictly abide by the Fundamental Duties. She also appealed to all citizens to choose the right government with their precious vote, explaining the importance of voting. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Mrs. Ashima Sahni, Dr. Harpreet, Dr. Sonic Bhatia, Mr. Yogeshwar and Ms. Zeenat.
