KanyaMahaVidyalaya (Autonomous) PG Department of English organised a seven days free of cost Spoken English course. During the classes a comprehensive curriculum was covered that included the topics like Basic Sentence Patterns, Grammar and Vocabulary, Listening and Speaking Exercises, Group Discussions, Conversational English, Pronunciation and Accent Improvement.Every topic was explained with the help of interactive discussions, audio visual aids and practical exercises. The participants were very much appreciative of this exemplary course as they got a great platform for improving their communication skills which is the need of the hour in today‘s competitive world. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi awarded certificates to all the participants and opined that such courses have a tremendous impact on the personality of individuals and these help students in getting placements too. She also added that in today’s world success depends upon the communication skills so such initiatives have a great relevance.
