Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organisedan Extension lecture on “Nanoparticles and theirapplications. The lecture was organised by PG Department of Chemistry. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Uma Shanker, Head, P.G. Department of Chemistry from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. The session was highly informative and engaging, providing valuable insights into the fascinating world of nanotechnology. Dr. Shanker elaborated on the fundamental concepts of nanoparticles, the wide-ranging applications in fields such as medicine, environment, electronics, and material science. He also emphasisedupon the role of nanotechnology in drug delivery and sustainable development, highlighting its significance in advancing modern science and technology. The session witnessed an enthusiastic response from students and faculty members, who actively participated in the interactive discussion.
