Ramandeep Kaur bags Gold Medal in Softball during National Games held in Gujarat

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always motivate its students to excel in all kinds of extra curricular activities. In an another major achievement, Ramandeep Kaur, a National Level Softball Player of KMV participated in 36th National Games held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and made KMV proud by bagging Gold Medal.Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi along with the faculty members and the students welcomed the national champion with warmth.It is pertinent to mention that Ramandeep Kaur has made the KMV proud by participating in different National Tournaments namely 43rd Senior National Softball Championship held at Ananthapuramu, (Andhra Pradesh) and securing a Silver Medal, 40th Senior National softball championship organised by Maharashtra (2018-2019) and secured a bronzemedal, 41st Senior National Softball Championship organised by Andhra Pradesh (2019-2020) and secured a silvermedal, 11th Senior North Zone National Softball Championship, Uttarakhand (2019) and secured a gold medal, 3rd Junior National Softball Championship Patiala (2017) and secured a goldmedal, 24th Senior Punjab State Softball Championship, Amritsar (2016) and secured a bronzemedal, 25th Senior Punjab State Softball Championship, Jalandhar (2017) and secured a bronze medal, 27th Senior Punjab State Softball Championship, Ludhiana (2018) and securedgoldmedal, All India Inter- university of Softball held at Punjabi University, Patiala (2020) and bagged silvermedal, 12th North Zone Softball Championship, Ferozpur (2019) and bagged goldmedal & was Awarded as a “Best All-rounder Player in Softball Inter-College Softball Tournament” organised by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Principal Prof. Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the national champion on her brilliant achievement. She averred that players at KMV are provided many facilities which include free education, hostel, mess & transport facilities. They avail a lot from state of the art infrastructure comprising Gymnasium, Health Club, Swimming Pool and sprawling play grounds. All these exceptional facilities elicit such excellent outcomes. Prof. Dwivedi also adumbrated that KMV will continue to provide these facilities to the students who continue to prove their mettle in sports arena. Ramandeep Kaur extended her gratitude towards KMV and said that it is only due to the able guidance provided by Principal Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi and teachers that she was able to achieve this height of success. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Davinder for this achievement.
