Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment, Ranked No.1 College  in India by India Today Ranking (Various Categories), one of the most prestigious college of the nation not only provides a suitable environment for academics, but it also holds an upper niche over the other colleges in the field of sports also. Keeping with the tradition, KMV bagged Winner Position in Guru Nanak Dev University Inter-College Softball Tournament. Ms Ramandeep Kaur was selected as a Best Player in the tournament. Eight students from team KMV namely Hira Kumari, Dimple Kumari, Shweta, Sushmita, Ramandeep Kaur, Manisha, Lashmi & Parkash Kaur has been selected for All India Inter-University Camp. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the victorious team and the sports faculty comprising Mrs Ashoo Bajaj & Dr Davinder. She averred that players at KMV are provided many facilities which include free education, hostel, mess & transport facilities. They avail a lot from state of the art infrastructure comprising Gymnasium, Health Club, Swimming Pool and sprawling play grounds. All these exceptional facilities elicit such excellent outcomes. Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi also adumbrated that KMV will continue to provide these abilities to the students who continue to prove their mettle in sports arena.
