Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous)nutrition students visited the Dietetics Department at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, as part of their academic learning and industry exposure program. The visit aimed to provide hands-on experience in clinical nutrition, therapeutic diet planning, and patient care. The students were welcomed by Dr. B.N Behrasenior dietitian, who shared their expertise on the role of medical nutrition therapy in managing diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, and renal conditions. The students observed meal planning, diet counseling sessions, and hospital dietary services, gaining a deeper understanding of how nutrition plays a crucial role in patient recovery.The students and faculty of KMV expressed their gratitude to PGIMER for providing this opportunity and looked forward to future academic collaborations.Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of Department of Nutrition, Exercise &Health to conduct such activities which diversify the students’ knowledge about their curriculum.
