Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) & Outlook Magazine organizeda week long celebration to commemorate the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed-E-Azam S. Bhagat Singh. During the celebrations, Department of Student Welfare & Department of Historyorganized poster making competition. Students made beautiful posters to pay their heartfelt tribute & obeisance to the great martyr. Students prepared beautiful posters and depicted the contribution of Shaheed Bhagat Singh in the freedom struggle of India. Students also gave a message to follow the footsteps of these great souls so that we can all make a colossal contribution in the society. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the students of KMV are fully rounded personalities and they always participate in plethora of meaningful activities organized by the college for their holistic development. Activities like this enhances the overall personality of the students and also motivates them to learn the contributions of great martyrs of this country so that they can learn the lessons of sacrifice & patriotism. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department Of Student Welfare& Dr Gurjot, Head, Department of History for organizing the celebrations.
