Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) talented Luddi team brought glory to the institution and to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar by securing the thirdposition at the prestigious Punjab State Inter-varsity Youth Festival 2024, held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.The event witnessed participation from all major universities across Punjab, making it a fierce competition among the best cultural talents in the state. Out of 18 exceptional teams showcasing their prowess in Luddi, a traditional Punjabi folk dance, KMV’s team stood out with their synchronized moves, vibrant costumesand energetic performance. The KMV Luddi teamachievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and passion for preserving and promoting Punjab’s rich cultural heritage.Principal Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this victory reflects the immense talent and cultural spirit of our students. Representing GNDU at such a prestigious platform and securing the Third Position among all universities in Punjab is a moment of pride for KMV. She further maintained that the Luddi team has once again upheld KMV’s tradition of excellence in co-curricular activities. The KMV Luddi team has consistently showcased remarkable performances in various cultural competitions. Their success at the Punjab State Intervarsity Youth Festival adds yet another feather to KMV’s cap, reinforcing its reputation as a hub for nurturing holistic development and cultural talent among students. Madam Principal congratulated the team members namely Tanveer Kaur, SukhmanpreetKaur, Lovepreet Kaur, PawandeepKaur, Vanshika Chandel, JashanpreetKaur, Angelina, Loveleen, Amanpreet Kaur, Tarana&Jasvir Kaur for their brilliant performances.
