Kanya Maha Vidyalaya(Autonomous) has been at the fore front in imparting quality education to the students. Students are always encouraged to participate in various competitions.  Keeping with the trend, KMV’s PG Department of Mathematics students of Certificate Course in Vedic Mathematics have brought laurels to the college by bagging gold, silver & bronze medal in the first international Vedic Olympiad conducted by Institute of Advancement of Vedic Mathematics, UK. Nidhi bagged gold medal, Pallavi&Prabhkirat got silver medal, Mansi& Bharti bagged bronze medal in this olympiad respectively. It is pertinent to mention that Nidhi also bagged the third rank in open category globally, therefore she was the only student from India who secured her place among the top scorers from all over the world in this international olympiad. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated and showered her blessings on the achievers for their remarkable victory. She also inspired the students to win such laurels in the future also.Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs Veena Deepak, Head, PG Department of Mathematics, Mrs AnandPrabha& other faculty members of the department for guiding the students.
