Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) inaugurated a Wall Magazine on the theme of ‘Elizabethan Era’. The wall magazine has been prepared by PG Department of English. Students of English Hons School, MA Five Years Integrated Programme, and MA English enthusiastically participated and read out excerpts from Shakespeare’s plays, some recited his sonnets and some threw light on Shakespeare’s life and artistic oeuvre and thus gave all a peep into the Shakespearean era. Students also dressed up as Romeo and Juliet and enacted the famous scenes from the renowned play ‘Romeo & Juliet’ by William Shakespeare. The students put up a strenuous effort to decorate the board with beautiful charts. Principal Dr. Atima sharma Dwivediinaugurated the wall magazine with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony and averred that activities like these give the students a platform to showcase their creativity and talent. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Head, PG Department of English & all the students for successfully preparing the wall.
