Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) known for its commitment to education, sports and the cultural heritage of India, takes pride in the consistent achievements of its student-athletes in various sports. In this series, the rugby team of K.M.V. demonstrated remarkable skills in the inter-college rugby championship by securing a bronze medal organised by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Team members Shagun Thakur, Manpreet Kaur, Divya, Harshita, Sanjana, Amandeep, Jasmin, Pooja, Suman, Amardeep Kaur, Sifa, and Arushi received acclaim for their sportsmanship, dedication, and enthusiasm. The championship, hosted by the Sports Department of Guru Nanak Dev University, witnessed their outstanding performance. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the group team for this special achievement, encouraging them to establish new dimensions of success with even more hard work and dedication in the future. Dr. Davinder Singh, Head of the Physical Education Department, along with Ms. Manpreet Kaur and Coach Mr. Sunil Kumar, was also praised by Madam Principal for providing the students with appropriate guidance.
