Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi delivers the inaugural talk on Positive Thinking and Attitude

KMV is the only college in the region to introduce Personality Development Program

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has introduced many innovative programs for the overall personality development of the students. Personality Development Program is one of the innovative program which has been introduced only by KMV in order to inculcate self confidence in the students. Various modules pertaining to communication skills, goal setting, leadership, fitness and grooming are covered under the program. Interactive sessions and workshops are held by expert faculty and trainers. The inaugural address of the Personality Development Programme was delivered by  Principal Prof. (Dr) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, through a very enlightening presentation on ‘’Positive Thinking and Attitude’’. During her address, Prof. Dwivedi highlighted the importance of developing a positive attitude to become successful in life. She also discussed about the peculiar problem of mental illness which is on increase these days. She urged the students to open up, believe in themselves and also motivated them to accomplish their goals. She also addressed the various issues which are faced by the youth of today such as inferiority complex, sense of loss, disappointment, disinterest in life and over thinking. Stressing on the importance of developing a strong personality, Madam Principal motivated the students to embark on a journey towards betterment and success. It is important to mention that the Personality Development Program is a compulsory program for the students of Sem III under the Value Added Programs introduced by KMV under the Autonomy & KMV is the only college in the region to introduce such value added programs in the curriculum of the students. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs Mani Khera, Coordinator, Personality Development Program for their efforts.
