Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has once again brought pride to the region as Senior Under Officer (SUO) Preeti Singh secured a prestigious selection for the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2025. She had the honour of participating in the Kartavya Path Guard of Honour, where she represented Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh Directorate with distinction. It is pertinent to mention that Preeti Singh is the only cadet selected from Jalandhar group. RDC, the pinnacle of NCC training, witnessed SUO Preeti Singh engaging in high-profile interactions with esteemed dignitaries. She had the privilege of meeting the Vice President of India, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Upendra Dwivedi, the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral R. Hari Kumar, the Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, and the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Anil Chauhan. A remarkable highlight of her journey was an exclusive visit to the official residence of General Upendra Dwivedi, PVSM, AVSM, the Chief of Army Staff, where she gained insights into the values of leadership, discipline, and service.Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded SUO Preeti Singh’s dedication and hard work. She averred that her selection and performance at RDC 2025 reflect the commitment and excellence of our institution in nurturing future leaders. She further maintained that Preeti Singh has set a benchmark for aspiring cadets and with this achievement, she has not only brought laurels to her institution but has also inspired countless NCC cadets to strive for excellence.Madam Principal lauded the efforts of ANO Lt. Sufalica Kalia &Department of NCC for working zealously to come up with a variety of opportunities and activities everyday so that girls can emerge as the future leaders of the Nation. Col.
